Staring out at the lake inside the palisade wall, Steve wondered how long it’d be before they could put in a floating gatehouse.
Until it happened, they’d be forced to only fish within the much smaller area inside the wall. It meant that Misty would have to be much more careful with how much fish they could take. Not without bringing in more fish from the rest of the lake.
It was going to be a definite limitation to them. More so if the mayor of Filch pushed harder on Steve and his farm.
This was his homestead. He wasn’t about to surrender it or its goods to someone else for no reason.
Looking up at the dark sky above him, he wished not for the first time that he was tired. Or at least tired enough that when he laid his head down to sleep, his mind would turn off and do so.
Tonight it had simply run wildly in circles, flailing at anything it could. Worries, what-if scenarios, and things far out of his control.
Doesn’t help that Nikki was willing, but it was just too hard with Nia not that far away.
Do I need to make a separate building for children?
I mean… there’s the distinct possibility I’ll be having some in the future, right? It’s not like I’ve been using birth control.
Wait, birth control?
He understood the term, but there had been a lot more context there for a split second, and then it vanished just as wholly as so many other things he thought of.
Grumbling and feeling annoyed at Shitty Steve, Steve leaned forward and looked to the water nearby.
A soft warmth pressed to his back and two arms wrapped around his middle. One hand immediately went down the front of his pants and into them. The other went up under his shirt.
“Hey there,” Ina whispered into his ear, her lips brushing against his earlobe. “Looks like I caught you all alone.”
Ina’s hand caressed down along his shaft. Then her warm fingers closed around it and she began to idly play with it back and forth. At the same time, her left hand was toying with his chest.
Steve felt her teeth sink into his ear, and it made his whole body tremble.
“Damn, Ina. I know we’ve been really heavy-petting with one another, but that’s a little intense,” Steve said, turning his head toward her.
“I know. It’s been hard not to just jump into your bed after you keep fondling me. Then again, I know it’s hard for you after I do the same right back,” Ina said after releasing him. Then she chuckled and kissed his ear. “But it’s kinda fun. Seeing who can fondle who without getting caught. I think I’m winning so far. Nikki catches you all the time. You’re so… not subtle.”
“What if I wanted to do more than get a feel for you right now?” Steve asked. He was feeling rather pent up, frustrated, and could really use an outlet right now.
It didn’t hurt that Ina was a shorter and just a bit smaller in figure version of Gwendolin.
